CEO & Founder @ Duhqa
I am the CEO & Founder of Duhqa, tasked with directing and executing all activities of the Company either directly or through delegated authority. I am responsible for fostering a deep understanding of the company vision, competitive and market environments and helping shape market strategies.
Before founding Duhqa, I was Chief Commercial Officer, Sendy where I led Country Managers in Africa under eCommerce (Merchant) Enterprise & Freight business units, VP Customer Experience, VP Growth & data, VP Marketing, VP Expansion and Commercial Projects. Within the first year I led the company to 4x growth and a further 2x growth in the second year. Previously, I worked for DHL Express as Head of Sales, East & Southern Africa, leading over 26 countries’ in the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy. I got my region to double digit growth during my tenure. I also held Sales Development Manager East & Agent Countries and Station Manager, Mombasa roles within the same company.
I have proven myself to be a highly flexible leader, bringing over 12 years experience in executive leadership, board management, investment & funding, product development, startups, commercial management, logistics management, customer service and operations. Troubleshooting and business turnaround are my particular talent through process & system improvements in ever-shifting corporate priorities.
I have also worked as the Director of Power Communications Ltd where I developed and delivered training solutions to Corporates and various NGOs and Brucelink Solutions where I led Commercial and expansion of the company.
